Four Burnette Shutt & McDaniel Honored in New ‘Best Lawyers’ Publications

Four Burnette Shutt & McDaniel attorneys are included in the just-released 2021 editions of “Best Lawyers in America” publications. They earned honors across nine practice areas, and all were recognized for their work in employment law and as litigators.
All told, the firm received 17 awards. Firm co-founder Nekki Shutt led the way with honors in eight practice areas.

Additionally, Grant Burnette LeFever is recognized in “Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch” in the practice areas of Labor and Employment Law – Employee; Labor and Employment Law – Management; and Litigation – Labor and Employment.

Selection to “Best Lawyers” is based on more than 5.5 million confidential surveys of the nation’s top attorneys. The guide, first published in 1983, describes itself as one of the top peer-reviewed guides to the legal profession.
The selection process for “Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch” is similar, though inclusion is limited to attorneys who have practiced 10 years or less.
A companion piece, “Best Law Firms in America,” is released in the fall. Burnette Shutt & McDaniel has earned “Best Law Firms” honors every year since the firm was founded.
