This document presents DESC’s IRP which includes several resource plans for meeting the energy and capacity needs of its customers over the next fifteen years, 2020 through 2034. This document is filed with the Public Service Commission of South Carolina (“Commission”) in accordance with S.C. Code Ann. § 58-37-40 (2019) and Order No. 98-502 and satisfies the annual reporting requirements of the Utility Facility Siting and Environmental Protection Act, S.C. Code Ann. § 58-33-430 (2015). The objective of the Company’s IRP is to develop a resource plan that will provide safe, reliable cost-effective energy to the Company’s customers while complying with all laws and regulations.
