Seibels Appoints Steven Hastings Vice President of Claims

Seibels is pleased to announce the appointment of Steven Hastings to Vice President of Claims. In this leadership role, Mr. Hastings will be responsible for overseeing the company’s end-to-end claims organization, which handles daily and catastrophe claims for clients.
Mr. Hastings has over thirty-two years of claims experience working for commercial and personal lines carriers and third party administrators. Mr. Hastings was previously Senior Vice President of Claims at Sedgwick in Orlando, where he was responsible for overall profit and loss for claims. Prior to Sedgwick, Mr. Hastings served as Claims Director at Fireman’s Fund Insurance, where he provided nationwide oversight for all claims operational units to ensure compliance with corporate and state procedures. Mr. Hastings also has experience working at Nationwide Insurance and Aetna Life and Casualty.

Mr. Hastings received his B.S. in Business Administration/Management from SUNY at Oswego and holds a CPCU designation. Steven will be based in Columbia, South Carolina.
