Palmetto Health is responding to those impacted by Hurricane Florence. Palmetto Health hospitals in Columbia and Sumter have received 16 patients from coastal heath care providers. Palmetto Health’s Emergency Management, Executive Leadership and our entire team are working to help assist as many patients as possible. We will continue to update you on the latest information.

Palmetto Health and the Palmetto Health-USC Medical Group have announced the following cancellations: 

  • Total Joint Replacement Pre-operative Class scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 13, has been canceled. Patients may reschedule by calling CareCall at 803-296-CARE (2273) and may review an educational video on the Palmetto Health-USC Medical group website.

  • Infant Mortality Awareness Walk scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 15, at Irmo Community Park has been canceled.
