Lindsay Minnema Named Project Coordinator to President and CEO for United Way of the Midlands

United Way of the Midlands named Lindsay Minnema as project manager for the President and CEO.
Minnema’s role as project coordinator includes planning and coordinating offsite meetings and event logistics, implementing special projects and managing Governance processes and documentation for the organization’s Board of Directors. Minnema will directly report to Sara Fawcett, United Way’s President and CEO.
“Lindsay is going to make a great addition to our United Way team. Her experience with nonprofit organizations made her the ideal candidate due to her variety of skills necessary for this role,” said Sara Fawcett, President and CEO of United Way of the Midlands. “I look forward to watching her excel in this position. She will be an integral part to furthering our mission to improve the quality of life for every person in the Midlands.”
Prior to this position, Minnema held the role of area director for Young Life, Inc., an international nonprofit that employs 2,500 people in 101 countries. Minnema’s five years of service for Young Life, Inc. as area director involved coordinating fundraisers, supervising staff and training emerging leaders. Minnema earned a Bachelor of Arts in journalism and a minor in Middle Eastern studies from Ohio State University.
